27 people arrested in ‘Operation Busted ICE’ in Cherokee Co. (2024)

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team and Narcotics Officers conducted “Operation Busted ICE” this week.

The operation led to 36 suspects being charged with various drug related crimes in Cherokee County, according to Sheriff Mueller. As a result, 78 warrants were signed for drug-related offenses.

During the Wednesday through Friday round-up, theywere able to arrest27 people, whileserving64warrants, according to Sheriff Mueller.

Sheriff Mueller said there have been 620 drug arrests in Cherokee County in 2018.

The following people were arrested during “Operation Busted Ice”:

1. Herman Ray Pierce, 65, of Gaffney, is charged with distribution of methamphetamine third or subsequent offense, distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school andpossession of methamphetamine third offense.
2. Ricky Allen Pierce, 39, of Gaffnet, is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine first offense and two counts of distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
3. Michael Raheem Shippy, 27, of Gaffney, is charged with distribution of methamphetamine first offense and distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 miles of a school.
4. Travis Jovan Smith, 39, of Gaffney, is charged with distribution of cocaine third or subsequent offense.
5. Travis Jean Williams, 36, of Blacksburg, is charged with distribution of methamphetamine first offense and distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
6. Sharon Loraine Stone, 59, of Blacksburg,is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine third offense or subsequent offense and two counts of distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
7. James Harold Lowe, Jr., 46, of Gaffney, is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine third offense or subsequent offense.
8. Joseph Wayne Allen, 35, of Cowpens,is charged with distribution of methamphetamine second offense.
9. Jamie Lynn Cole, 34, of Gaffney, is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine third offense or subsequent offense and two counts of distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
10. Mark Allen Sarratt, Jr., 40, of Blacksburg,is charged with distribution of methamphetamine second offense anddistribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
11. Christopher Scott Wright, 41, of Gaffney,is charged with distribution of methamphetamine first offense.
12. Pamela Jane Cruz-Reyes, 36, of Gaffney, is charged with distribution of methamphetamine third offense or subsequent offense and distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
13. Gary Lynn Peterson, 47, of Gaffney,is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine third offense or subsequent offense.
14. Bobby Edward Labo, 49, of Gaffney,is charged with distribution of methamphetamine second offense.
15. Candice ColsonChaney, 55, of Gaffney,is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine second offense and two counts of distribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
16. Wanda Michelle Bowen, 39, of Gaffney,is charged with distribution of methamphetamine second offense anddistribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a school.
17. Joshua Kwame Lindsay, 27, of Gaffney, is charged with distribution of cocaine first offense, distribution of cocaine withing 0.5 mile of West End Park and simple possession of marijuana.
18. Justin Wade Lindsay, 30, of Gaffney,is charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine first offense, two counts of distribution of cocaine withing 0.5 mile of West End Park and simple possession of marijuana.

    

19. Margie Elaine Hullett, 36, of Gaffney, is charged with violation of probation.
20. Jason Lee Blackwell, 35, of Gaffney, is charged withdistribution of methamphetamine third offense or subsequent offense.
21. Charles Edward Mullinax, 51, of Gaffney, is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine first offense.
22. Preston Clyde Williams, Jr., 37, of Gaffney, is charged with possession of methamphetamine first offense, possession of diazepam first offense and possession of Tramadol first offense.
23. Melissa Dawn Martin, 35, of Gaffney, is charged withpossession of methamphetamine first offense, possession of diazepam first offense and possession of Tramadol first offense.
24. Furman Edward Henderson, Jr., 38, of Leesville, is charged withdistribution of methamphetamine first offense anddistribution of methamphetamine within 0.5 mileof a park or playgroundand possession of methamphetamine first offense.
25. Roderick Shundale Dover, 27, of Gaffney, is charged with distribution of Xanax first offense.
26. Antwantte Hope Godfrey, 35, of Lowell, N.C., is charged with possession of Adderall first offense, possession of Lyrica first offense and possession of Xanaxfirst offense.
27. Kristina Michelle Bolin, 30, of Gaffney, is charged with possession of methamphetamine third or subsequent offense and wanted fugitive from justice.

The following people remainat-large and are wanted for the remaining 14 warrants:

1. Phillip Dian Manning, 26, of Gaffney, is wanted for distribution of marijuana first offense.
2. Jermaine Valgaue Littlejohn, 46, of Gaffney, is wanted for distribution of methamphetamine second offense.
3. Brian Keith Parker, 38, of Gaffney, is wanted for distribution of methamphetamine first offense.
4. Kelly Dawn Childers, 41, of Gaffney, is wanted for two counts of distribution of methamphetamine first offense.
5. Preston MontrailKesler, 32, of Gaffney is wanted fordistribution of methamphetamine first offense.
6. Steven Tyrone Sarratt, 41, of Gaffney, is wanted fordistribution of methamphetamine first offense.
7. Steven Vance Hensley, Jr., 30, of Chesnee, is wanted fordistribution of methamphetamine secondoffense and distribution of methamphetamine withing 0.5 mile of a school.
8. Jeffery Ray Garland, 51, of Gaffney, is wanted for two counts of distribution of methamphetamine second offense and two counts ofdistribution of methamphetamine withing 0.5 mile of a school.
9. Horace Lynn Sellars, 35, of Gaffney, is wanted fordistribution of methamphetamine third or subsequentoffense anddistribution of methamphetamine withing 0.5 mile of a park or playground.

The C.A.T. and narcotics officers, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office deputies, SLED, Homeland Security Investigations and Cherokee Detention Center officers all assisted with the operation.
