That should bode well for Braves rookie righty Spencer Schwellenbach to rack up K’s today. Schwellenbach boasts a 42% chase rate which hasn’t gotten him the strikeouts yet but could today. That chase rate is key as he’s striking out a shade over 9 per nine innings at home and the strikeout-prone Pittsburgh sticks will be extremely aggressive after plating only two runs this weekend.

Despite hitting a rough patch in June, Freddy Peralta has dominated Cubs hitters over the course of his career, limiting current Chicago batters to a .167/.306/.320 slash line. This includes his latest start against the Cubbies back on May 28, striking out 11 and giving up just one earned run over 5 2/3 innings of work. Meanwhile, Chicago starter Kyle Hendricks is amid the worst year of his career, entering Sunday with a 6.87 ERA and 1.49 WHIP. The 36-year-old right-hander last faced Milwaukee coming out of the bullpen, allowing three earned runs over 3 2/3 innings on May 29. Milwaukee is a commanding 26-13 at home, and I expect the Brewers to run away with this one on Sunday.
