A.I. in corporate environments is maturing, but obviously far from solidified. This article from a16z (aka Andreessen Horowitz) synthesizes recent developments accurately (IMO) and succinctly. Of particular note to me are the points about:- the future being multi-model, for reasons of flexibility, preventing lock-in, and hedging bets- the balance of control/ownership vs. outsourcing, for reasons of strategic advantage and sensitivity, desire for customization, and defense- that enterprises are buying AI services largely from their existing cloud providers, for reasons of data security, switching costs, existing MSAs, and convenience (not surprising, but good to see the data)#ai #strategy #design #innovationhttps://lnkd.in/d3KAEqmG
