“My advice is to take your time.”Caveat: The good news is thatjust 14% of US adults have even tried ChatGPT andvery few businesses have deployed generative technology. At best, companies are experimenting, and many will lose momentum. Therefore, there is no need to rush into anything, including investing hastily in private instances, bespoke development, or worrying that competitors have already adopted the technology. Instead, organizations should thoughtfully assess the risks and potential of the technology, focusing on identifying use cases and starting by experimenting in low-risk areas without anxiety about missing out. The bad news is that as of March 2023, global reports have shown that 9.3 percent of knowledge workers have experimented compelling professional environment, and 7.5 percent have inserted proprietary corporate information into the tool.Furthermore, as of April 20, 2023, it was uncovered that 70% of employees utilizing ChatGPT in the workplace had not disclosed this fact to their supervisors. While there is no need to rush, you can not ignore generative technology. #generativeai #chatgpt #artificialintelligence #businessstrategy

Really interesting interview about the importance of looking at the potential of an AI vision in business. Worth checking the data lab course. I especially liked the point of the importance of diversity on the risks of feeding biased data for AI to make decisions... "Eliminating bias and unrepresentative datasets is crucial to ensuring ethical AI decision-making. Organisations must be vigilant in removing bias from data, and if you want to make truly effective decisions, you need to build diverse teams representative of our society."Thanks Anna Ashton Scott for sharing!

I had a great discussion with Matthew Paton about how our new course can help leaders think beyond the hype to establish an AI vision, understand its uses and limitations, and take steps to develop an actionable AI plan. Thanks to Matthew and Lynsey Brydson, Built Environment - Smarter Transformation for inviting me to take part!#ai #leadership #leadershipcoaching #onlinecourses

Interesting what GenAI triggered the focus and need for ethical, trusted, traceable AI at scale combined with regulation like EU AI ACT to enforce this.
